It is a hex & counter game with unique battle mechanism, a lot of strategy and a number of features specific to the harsh conditions of the setting. Khalkhin Gol is medium level complexity and lasts from 2 to 4 hours. Variable setup and random cards bringing effects to the game offers great replayability.
